A photograph that tells the chef's story

Food photography can show much more than just a delicious food on a plate. I am interested in capturing the personality of a restaurant, the work of the people in the kitchen, and the details that make each project unique.

I photograph dishes and products, but also chefs, kitchen staff, restaurants, spaces, and preparation of the dishes. I look for natural, carefully crafted images that convey the character of each restaurant, chef, or brand.

I work closely with my clients to understand what they want to communicate and find a visual style that matches their identity. The goal is to create images that are not only appealing, but also capture something of the personality and the place they represent.

A natural and approachable perspective

I am particularly interested in photographing the preparation as it unfolds: the quality of the raw product, hands at work, the relationships between people, and the small details that are part of every dish.

Before becoming a photographer, I worked as a journalist, including as a reporter for The Guardian in London. That experience continues to shape my perspective: observing, finding what’s worth telling, and creating images that tell the story.

Food and wine photography

In addition to food photography, I specialise in wine photography and regularly work with wineries, winemakers, and wine brands in Rioja, and other wine regions in Spain.

This combination of food, wine, people and place allows me to approach projects related to restaurants, wineries, hotels, culinary tourism, and food brands from a broad and coherent perspective.

I work in Logroño and throughout La Rioja

I am based in La Rioja and regularly work with restaurants, chefs, wineries, and brands in Logroño and throughout the region. I also work across the rest of Spain, especially in the north of the country.

I am fluent in both Spanish and English and work with both Spanish and international clients.
