I am a professional photographer based in La Rioja, specialising in photography for wineries, wine brands, publications, and wine tourism.
I have been photographing the vineyards, wineries, winemakers, grape harvests, and landscapes of Rioja for years. I work with both Spanish and international clients and am fluent in Spanish and English.
A photograph that tells the story of each wine
Every winery has its own character. My goal is to capture that character in a natural, authentic, and personal way—from the landscape and the vineyard to the people, the winery, and the wine itself.
I work closely with my clients to understand what makes their wine and its story unique, and to create images that reflect their identity and the way they want to present themselves.
My work encompasses vineyards and grape harvests, wineries and winemakers, bottles and wine, gastronomy, and wine tourism. I work with both Spanish and international clients, in La Rioja and throughout Spain.
The perspective of a journalist turned photographer
Before becoming a photographer, I was a journalist, including as a reporter for The Guardian in London. That experience continues to shape my perspective: I’m interested in people, places, and the stories behind what they do.
I apply that same perspective to wine photography, seeking to look beyond the bottle to showcase the people, landscapes, and processes that give each wine its identity.
